MirchiRuggedian: The Ultimate Event For Adventurers In Pune
Sunday, June 26th 2016, saw adventurers from around Pune flock to Life Republic, Hinjawadi, for the biggest and most adventurous obstacle race in India. The age criteria was set to 12-65 years, with three types of races to choose from:
1. Cycle + Obstacle Race (14 km, which included 6km cycling and 8km race)
2. Fun Run (6km)
3. Obstacle Race (8km)
Armed with snacks and words of encouragement along the way, participants completed the races and courses with unbelievable enthusiasm. It was truly a sight to behold!
The obstacle course was not one to take lightly, with 15+ military style obstacle courses – but participants took on the challenge with fervor and were awarded medals and certificates on completion.The completion of races was just the beginning, however. A fun-filled dance party followed all the hard work, with delicious food and a DJ playing groovy tracks for all the friends and family.
It was the kind of memorable experience that can only be created with overcoming challenges and celebrating successes together. Here’s to many more such events for the fun-loving Ruggedians!
